Finaly got to try my new boom :) Made the trek down to the coast for the weekend.
Wind was about a force four and building so rigged 7m and 112lt board. Was getting some good runs in but gybeing was a differnt matter! The chop/ swell / ship wash was a nightmare I know you should find a flatter place to gybe but it was inpossible most times when gybing on outside I would go in too slow and stall on the up or too fast and get totaly wiped out as I got launched off a bit of chop. Once going over the chop it was quite fun even managed a bit of wave riding on the wash from passing power boats just had to remmber the sail goes very light when riding the lip of the wave.
The wind got up for a while had some mega spinout while trying to head upwind to slow down in the gusts some people heading back in for 5.5's but just as they rigged the wind dropped so there wasn't even enough for a 7m
The wind came back for a while but the tide had turned and with wind and tide going the same way it was a nightmare to get going and was indanger of getting back to shore 5 miles down the coast

Would og been nice if the tide was better but four stars none the less
